February 7 – Arrive to Cairo. Meet Village Experience Representative at airport and transfer to hotel in Giza.

February 8 – Meet your Egyptologist at the hotel. Morning visit to the famous Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Spend the afternoon in the famous Khan-il-Khalili Bazaar shopping, eating, and exploring Islamic Cairo. (B)

February 9 – Today we will visit the famous Egyptian Museum – this is a real treat! Lunch and free time downtown. Return to hotel in the afternoon. (B)

February 10 – Transfer to the airport in the morning and board flight to Luxor. Enjoy visits to the beautiful Karnak and Luxor Temples. Check into Nile Cruise for lunch and rest. Explore the Luxor Markets in the evening. (B,L,D)

February 11 – Today we travel to the Valley of the Kings! Explore ancient burial sites of past pharaohs including King Tutankhamun. Continue the journey with a visit to the Queen Hatshepsut Temple. Return to the boat for lunch and begin sailing to Edfu City. Pass through the Esna Lock. Dinner and overnight on boat. (B,L,D)

February 12 – This morning we will board horse and carriages and travel to the Temple of Horus. Return to the boat and continue the sail to Kom Ombo to visit the Temple of Sobeck. We will have a relaxing sail throughout the rest of the day until we reach Aswan in the evening. Lunch and dinner aboard the boat. (B,L,D)

February 13 – Visit the Philae Temple and High Dam in the morning. Return to boat for lunch. Enjoy a sunset felucca ride and explore the Aswan markets in the evening. Dinner and overnight on boat. (B,L,D)

February 14 – After breakfast, check out of the Nile Cruise. Spend the morning visiting a traditional Nubian Village and enjoying a boat ride through some of the most beautiful scenery you will ever see. Board flights in the afternoon to return to Cairo. Check into hotel in Giza. Farewell dinner in the evening. (B,D)

February 15 – Official end of tour. Transfers to the airport throughout the day. (B)


Visit the Center for Disease Control website for up-to-date requirements ( and/or speak with a local travel doctor regarding vaccinations. We also advise that you speak with your doctor regarding a prescription for an antibiotic to combat food and water borne illnesses.
