Itinerary

March 5 – Arrive to Nairobi. Meet Village Experience representative and transfer to Tune Hotel.

March 6 – Morning departure for Amboseli National Park. Check into Kibo Tented Camp upon arrival. Afternoon game drive. (B,D)

March 7 – All day game drive in Amboseli National Park. Go in search of the Big 5 – Elephant, Leopard, Lion, Rhino and Buffalo. All meals at lodge. (B,L,D)

March 8 – After morning game drive, depart for Lake Naivasha. Break for lunch along the way. Check into Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp for bonfire, dinner, and overnight. (B,D)

March 9 – Morning boat ride with the Hippos on Lake Naivasha. Journey to Crescent Island and enjoy a walking safari among the resident giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, and antelope. Return to Nairobi in the afternoon and check into Tune Hotel. (B)

March 10 – Morning visit to Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage, the Giraffe Conservation Center, and Kazuri Beads. Check out some local markets to see traditional African crafts. Dinner at one of our favorite restaurants in the evening! (B)

March 11 – Official end of trip. Transfers to the airport. Hopefully you will boarding a flight to Lamu to join us at the Yoga Festival! (B)

Vaccinations

Visit the Center for Disease Control website for up-to-date requirements (www.cdc.gov) and/or speak with a local travel doctor regarding vaccinations.

We also advise that you speak with your doctor regarding a prescription for an antibiotic to combat food and water borne illnesses.
