October 5 – Arrive to Casablanca International Airport and meet your TVE representative. Check into hotel. Evening visit to the stunning Hassan II Mosque and local welcome dinner. (D)

October 6 – Morning drive to Fes. The entire Old Town section of Fes is considered a UNESCO World Heritage site. Check into your stylish, boutique riad located deep in the medina. Enjoy a local hammam experience in the evening. (B)

October 7 – Cultural, Foodie, and Shopping tour of Fes. We will check out local handicrafts, see the cultural and religious sites, visit the tannery, and try local street foods and sweets. Free evening to explore on your own or relax at the riad. (B)

October 8 – Drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains in the morning and check into Eco-lodge run by Berber Community. Visit women’s handicraft cooperatives on the way. Enjoy a relaxing evening overlooking some of the most beautiful scenery in Morocco. (B,D)

October 9 – Morning drive to Marrakech. Check into boutique riad located close to the souks. Guided tour of the enormous souks and the ever popular Djema el Fna in the evening. We’ll make a stop at the local food stalls for dinner. (B)

October 10 – Morning “local living” tour of the medina. We’ll witness how people have been cooking and baking bread for centuries, see how traditional Moroccan mint tea is made, and stroll through local parts of town. We’ll also stop by the incredible Madrasa Ben Youseff. We have a special treat for everyone in the evening – a Moroccan cooking class and dinner with the women of Amal non-profit. (B,D)

October 11 – Morning drive to the seaside town of Essaouira. Check into hotel. Afternoon tour of the medina and fishing port to learn the history and culture of the area and get acclimated to your new surroundings. (B)

October 12 – Free time in the morning to shop to your heart’s content. Essaouira has great carpets, silver, clothing, and pottery stalls. Depart for the Agafay Desert after lunch. Check into your tented campsite in time for sunset, drinks, and dinner.

October 13 – Sunrise camel ride through the desert. Return to the campsite for breakfast and free time to enjoy the relaxing and peaceful setting. Return to Marrakech in the afternoon. Check into riad. We’ll have a special Farewell dinner in the evening and time for last minute shopping or photo ops in the souks. (B,D)

October 14– Trip ends after breakfast. Transfer arranged to airport or railway station. (B)
