November 17 – Arrive to airport in Guatemala City. Meet Village Experience Representative and transfer to hotel in Antigua. Welcome drink provided upon check in. Settle into this fun space and get to know your fellow travelers.

November 18 -Enjoy a walking tour of the UNESCO World Heritage City of Antigua. Visit the Town Square, Fifth Avenue, La Merced Church, and markets throughout the city. Free afternoon to continue exploring, eating, and shopping. (B)

November 19 & 20 – Service days with our partners at Vamos Adelante. On these days, we will board pickup trucks and venture into the Guatemalan jungle to access remote rural villages. Participate it the food distribution program, visit families receiving new additions to their homes as a result of this trip, and spend time with the children at the vacation school program in Ceylan. Lunch will be provided in the village. Return to Antigua in the afternoon. (B,L)

November 21 – Free day in Antigua to enjoy the city – feel free to check out the local artisan and fair trade shops, go zip-lining, find your way to Cerro de la Cruz, participate in a chocolate making class, or try out the local bars and restaurants. (B)

November 22 – Today we wake up bright and early and drive to beautiful Lake Atitlan. This stunning lake is dotted with quaint Mayan villages and surrounded by three majestic volcanoes. Enjoy a boat tour around the lake and free time to shop and eat lunch. Return to Antigua in the evening. (B)

November 23 – Today, we will visit a coffee plantation for a tour and tasting in the morning. Afternoon time to relax or explore. Evening Farewell Dinner and drinks at the Antigua Brewing Company. (B,D)

November 24 – Transfers to airport throughout the day. (B)


Visit the Center for Disease Control website for up-to-date requirements ( and/or speak with a local travel doctor regarding vaccinations. We also advise that you speak with your doctor regarding a prescription for an antibiotic to combat food and water borne illnesses.
